Connected system

Custom website + business app as one system

HaveSight designs and builds your public website, your business application, and practical AI and automation as one connected system around how your business runs. Experience (what customers see and do), Operations (how your team works), and Intelligence (AI and automation inside those systems) belong together — not split across a brochure site from one vendor, an ops tool from another, and an AI experiment from a third. This page is for businesses that have outgrown disconnected tools, or that are comparing a marketing agency against stitching SaaS tools together.

Tell us which part is breaking: the customer journey, the way your team works, or a handoff between them.

Or see each part on its own:

When the website, the work, and the tools do not talk to each other

Most businesses do not set out to build a disconnected system. It happens one reasonable decision at a time. A website goes up to look credible. A CRM or estimating tool gets added when the spreadsheet stops working. Someone connects the two with Zapier. Later, a chatbot gets bolted onto the site because everyone is talking about AI.

Each piece may be fine on its own. The trouble shows up in the handoffs:

  • The website looks good, but every inquiry lands in a shared inbox and someone retypes it into another system.
  • Estimating, scheduling, or job tracking lives in spreadsheets or a separate SaaS tool that does not know what the customer asked for.
  • Automations between tools break quietly, and nobody notices until a customer does.
  • An AI chatbot answers questions on the site but has no connection to the actual work.
  • Three vendors each own a piece, and none of them owns the handoff between pieces.

That is what we mean by outgrowing disconnected tools. The fix is usually not another tool. It is designing the customer journey and the team's work so they share one system.

If this is not quite your situation, that is fine. If you only need a public website, start with Websites. If the problem is one workflow inside the company, start with Business Applications. If your question is where AI can actually help, start with AI & Automation. Our FAQ also covers who we are and are not a good fit for.

What Experience, Operations, and Intelligence mean

HaveSight's work falls into three parts. Each one is useful on its own. They are strongest when they are designed to connect.

  1. 01

    Experiencethe front door

Public websites and customer experiences: inquiry, consultation requests, commerce, customer portals, and learning. This is what customers see and use.

    See websites
  2. 02

    Operationsthe app does the work

Custom business applications: CRM, estimating and pricing, project delivery, job costing, reporting, and team workspaces. This is where your team gets the work done.

    See business applications
  3. 03

    IntelligenceAI helps inside

AI and automation inside your website, your business application, or tools you already use — with a person reviewing anything that touches money, customers, or commitments.

    See AI & automation
The website is the front door, the app does the work, and AI helps inside those systems.

They are not three separate products. They are parts of one system built around how your business runs.

Start with what you want to improve — the customer experience, the way your team works, or a task that takes too much time — and we will design the right combination. You do not need all three on day one. The point is that they are designed to connect.

Connected system vs marketing agency vs stitching SaaS tools

There is more than one reasonable way to put a business online and run it. Here is an honest comparison of the three paths buyers usually weigh.

Comparison of a marketing agency, a SaaS stitch, and a HaveSight connected system
PathWhat you usually getWhen it fits
Marketing agencyA brochure or lead-generation website, plus campaigns, content, and adsYou need marketing execution, not the system your business runs on
SaaS stitchA website builder, a field-service or CRM tool such as Jobber, ServiceTitan, or HubSpot, and Zapier connecting themA standard workflow fits your business and you want speed
HaveSight connected systemA custom website and business application shaped to how you work, with optional AI and automation insideYour customer journey and your team's workflow need to share one system

A few honest notes:

  • Good tools are good tools. If a standard product fits the way you work, buy it. We will tell you so. We are not here to replace software that is doing its job.
  • We can often work alongside what you have. Many connected systems keep existing tools for accounting, payments, or email and connect to them where it makes sense.
  • Custom makes sense when the workflow is the product — when the way you estimate, deliver, train, or serve customers is what makes your business different, or when the pieces you have do not connect the way your team needs.

We are planning a deeper buy-vs-build guide for field-service and operations teams. Until then, the FAQ and a conversation are the best places to work through that decision.

What a connected system looks like in practice

Two of our projects show the full pattern: a public front door, an application that does the work behind it, and — where it helps — practical AI inside.

Kitchen Creations — remodeling operating system and public experience

The front door. A public website with a showroom presence, project galleries, and a clear path to request a consultation.

Behind it.

Intake → CRM → Estimating and pricing → Project delivery → Job costing → Team operations

Intelligence inside. AI-assisted estimating helps the team prepare estimates faster, and the numbers are always reviewed by a person before they go out.

Why it matters. It is one system — front door, operations, and practical AI — rather than a brochure site, a spreadsheet, and a chatbot that never meet.

Rising Tide Plumbing — connected training platform

The front door. A public site that presents the brand and programs and gives people a clear way to sign in or purchase.

Behind it. A platform that handles accounts, commerce, learning, licensing, customer management, and owner operations.

Why it matters. The public site sells and admits people. The platform behind it is the operating system for the business.

Public websites we also build

Not every project starts as a full system. We also design and build public websites for organizations that need a clear, well-made front door:

A beautifully designed website is still one of the most valuable things we build. It is simply strongest when it is the public face of a system that also does the work — and we build every site so it is ready to connect to operations when you are.

Who we are, and who owns the system

We are not a marketing agency. We design and build websites, business applications, and AI and automation around how your business runs. We do not sell SEO retainers, manage ad spend, run social calendars, or produce content on a schedule. We are also not a chatbot shop — AI is a part of the system, not the product we sell.

You own your system. Clients own their application code (as agreed in the project), their data, and their third-party accounts. We do not hold your business hostage to a HaveSight-owned platform, and this is not website-as-a-service lock-in.

Care is a written plan, not a blank check. After launch, monthly Care covers the maintenance and agreed updates defined for your solution. The plan sets out the monthly fee, the included services, and the limits. Work beyond the plan is quoted and approved separately.

For more on fit, ownership, Care, and how we keep AI safe, see the FAQ.

How a connected system gets built: Launch, then Care

Launch. We start by understanding how your business actually runs — where customers come in, where the work happens, and where handoffs break. Then we agree on the scope and price, and we design, build, test, train, and launch in manageable phases. Many connected systems start with the public experience and one core workflow, then deepen from there as the team settles in.

Care. After launch, your solution moves into monthly Care. Care includes monitoring, agreed updates, and security and dependency maintenance as scoped in your plan. Your plan sets out three things plainly:

  • The monthly fee.
  • The included services. Monitoring, agreed updates, and security and dependency maintenance as scoped.
  • The limits. Care does not promise unlimited changes. Additional work is quoted and approved before it starts.

Throughout both phases, ownership stays with you.

Frequently asked questions

What does "website + business app as one system" mean?
It means the public experience customers use and the application your team uses are designed to connect — inquiry, purchase, or enrollment becomes a working record, estimate, order, or account, instead of sitting in a shared inbox apart from operations.
How is this different from hiring a marketing agency?
Marketing agencies focus on campaigns, content, and lead generation. HaveSight builds the digital system behind how the business runs: websites, business applications, and practical AI/automation. We are not a marketing agency.
How is this different from stitching SaaS tools together?
Buying a website builder, a field-service tool, and Zapier can work when a standard workflow fits. A connected custom system fits when your customer journey and team workflow need to share one shape — or when the tools you have do not connect the way your team needs.
Do I need Experience, Operations, and Intelligence all at once?
No. Most projects start with one website, one workflow, or one task that takes too much time. We design so the pieces can connect as you grow.
What are Experience, Operations, and Intelligence?
Experience is the public website and customer journeys. Operations is the custom business application (CRM, estimating, delivery, reporting). Intelligence is AI and automation inside those systems or tools you already use, with people reviewing important decisions.
Who owns the code, data, and accounts?
You do. Clients own their application code (as agreed), their data, and their third-party accounts. Care is maintenance under a written plan — not ownership of your system. See our FAQ.
Are you a marketing agency?
No. We design and build websites, business applications, and AI/automation for how the business runs. We do not sell SEO retainers, manage ads, or run social calendars.
Do you only work in Wilmington?
No. HaveSight is based in Wilmington, North Carolina, and we work with businesses nationwide.
What happens after launch?
Your solution moves into monthly Care. The plan sets out the fee, included services, and limits. Work beyond the plan is quoted and approved separately.
Where does AI fit in a connected system?
Inside the website, the business application, or tools you already use — on real jobs, with review steps on anything that touches money, customers, or commitments. We are not a chatbot shop. See AI & Automation.
Can we keep tools we already use?
Often, yes. We assess integrations first; what is possible depends on the tools, access, and scope. We will tell you what is practical before we commit.
When should we buy Jobber / ServiceTitan / HubSpot instead?
When a standard workflow fits and you want speed. Buy the tool. We help when the workflow itself is what makes your business different, or when the pieces need to connect as one system. A deeper buy-vs-build guide is planned.
