Kitchen Creations: a Wilmington showroom website connected to the system that runs the business

HaveSight designed and built Kitchen Creations' public website and the operations system behind it. Kitchen Creations is a Wilmington, NC kitchen and bath showroom. Consultation requests from the site become customer records, then estimates built from shared price lists, then project workspaces, job costing, and a team delivery board. AI helps prepare estimates, and the numbers are always reviewed by a person before they go out.

The challenge

A showroom business runs on a lot of moving parts. Inquiries arrive, consultations are scheduled, estimates are built from many categories and suppliers, and projects carry selections, changes, and payments over weeks or months. Keeping all of that in separate places made it harder to see where every job stood.

We built it as one system: a public front door that brings people in, and an application behind it that carries each request through to a finished, costed job.

What we built

The front door: the public website

A showroom experience with design options, galleries, service-area pages, campaign entry points, and a clear consultation request path. See websites connected to operations.

Intake and CRM

Consultation requests and campaign and event signups land in one customer list. A consultation inbox turns a request into a client and a project.

Estimating and pricing

Multi-category line items with quantities, costs, markups, review flags, and tax, a status workflow, reusable price lists, a pricing catalog, supplier-quote import, saved estimates, and client-ready documents.

Project delivery and job costing

Each job has its own workspace for materials, selections, approvals, and messages, plus a client-facing materials checklist. Purchase orders roll into job costing, alongside a project P&L, deposits and draws, change orders, and estimate versions.

Team operations

A stage-by-stage delivery board with assignments, due dates, and statuses, plus a shared calendar and user roles.

One connected system

  1. Public experience
  2. Lead and consultation intake
  3. CRM
  4. Estimating and pricing
  5. Project delivery
  6. Job costing and profitability
  7. Team operations

How it works day to day

  • Homeowners move from browsing inspiration on the public site to requesting a consultation.
  • The team turns each inquiry into a working record, then into a client and a project.
  • Estimators build estimates from shared price lists and a pricing catalog, with review steps before anything goes out.
  • Project leads work from a job workspace with open items, messages, materials and selections, and approvals.
  • Owners see purchase orders roll into job costing and a project P&L as the work happens.
  • Everyone works from the same delivery board and shared calendar.

Information entered once moves forward instead of being retyped at every step.

Where AI helps, and where a person decides

The system includes AI-assisted estimate generation and smart margin adjustment. The numbers are always reviewed by a person before they go out.

The estimator owns the price. AI does the preparation.

See AI & automation and how we handle AI and human review.

What changed

  • Inquiries, estimates, jobs, and costs live in one connected system instead of separate places.
  • Estimators start from shared price lists and catalog data, so each estimate builds on the last.
  • Job costs are visible at the project level as purchase orders and change orders come in.
  • The whole team works from one delivery board.
